Standing and Queueing
The nature of the venue means that standing is very common - seating can be provided but good lines of sight to the stage cannot be guaranteed.
Wheelchair Access is available to our ground floor bar via the entrance on High Street, our venue is situated down one flight of 16 stairs with a handrail on the left hand side. There is no lift access.
Please note that we are unable to assist in carrying individuals or wheelchairs to these areas. If you wish to access these areas, please bring an Essential Companion (see below) who can assist you.
We do have disabled toilet facilities; the only toilets we have are the ground floor towards the back of the building.
There is accessible on parking at Highcross Roof Top car park and drop off points just up the road at the top of High Street. The live acts area (venue) of The Cookie is downstairs and lift access is not possible. Access can only be gained by a flight of 16 stairs.
Given the nature of the The Cookie we would discourage customers from bringing assistance dogs with them during shows and busy periods but welcome all dogs during the day. We do however offer an essential companion concession in these instances.
For ticketed shows a free essential companion ticket is available to enable customers to attend. To apply for a 2-for-1 ticket, please book a standard entry ticket and then email proof of eligibility through to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Customers with Medical Requirements
We welcome customers who may need to bring medication or medical equipment with them to manage a condition. If you need to bring food or drink with you to manage a medical condition, please let us know in advance.
